Thank you for two wonderful years!
Teresa Janikova
Student Union President

Dear Regent's students,
What a journey it has been.
Two years ago, I welcomed many of you to our beautiful campus. Today I am writing a rather different message, one I have been thinking about for some time: a goodbye, and a thank you.
Being trusted to serve as your Students' Union President, and then being re-elected for a second term, has been the greatest privilege of my time at Regent's. It is something I will always carry with me. I have watched this community grow, take chances, start societies, fill events, and show up for one another in ways that made me proud every single day. Everything we built, we built together, and none of it would have been possible without you.
When I look back, it is remarkable how far we have come in these two years. So much has changed for the better, and so much of it came from you: your ideas, your energy, and your willingness to get involved.
Thank you for your trust, your patience, and your understanding. There were moments when I was carrying a great deal at once, often more than the role itself, and your kindness and grace through those stretches meant more than you know. You made the harder days lighter and the good ones unforgettable.
To every student who shared an idea, raised their voice, joined in, or simply said hello in passing: thank you. You are the reason this work mattered.
As I step away, my wish for you is the same one I have always held. Follow your passion, step out of your comfort zone, and make the very most of everything Regent's has to offer.
And to those of you graduating this year: congratulations, and all the very best. You should be so proud of everything you have achieved. The world is lucky to have you, and I have no doubt you will go on to do wonderful things.
It has been the honour. I wish you all the very best, wherever your path takes you next.

With all my gratitude,
Teresa
