About the Role

In this role you will be representing all the students undergraduate Business and Management courses. You will be organising biweekly meetings open to all students and gather feedback which then will be worked with towards improvements and changes. In collaboration with the team, you will plan events suitable and beneficial for undergraduate Business and Management students.

Only undergraduate Business and Management students can apply for this position!

What being an executive member entails

  • Support your team to enhance the student experience within your area. 

  • Work closely with the relevant Vice President in weekly meetings.

  • Work in supportive environment where if being open to learn, you will always find support and help. 

  • Attend the weekly Executive Meetings and share your thoughts about SU and University Initiatives. 

  • Be part of exciting SU projects and events. 

  • Support the SU and the SU President in their aims and objectives to promote the welfare of all students on campus.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is organised and excited to inspire others. Someone who has experience in presenting, public speaking and ability to collaborate with a team, someone who has great listening skills, is empathetic and driven towards change and improvements based on students feedback.

What is this role about?

  • Attend 90% of the weekly Student Union Executive Meetings. 

  • Attend the required course panel each term to discuss the feedback submitted by the student representatives of each level of the related course. 

  • Hold a council meeting every two weeks, with the appropriate agenda and submit meeting minutes to the Vice President of Councils and Representation.  

  • Plan, implement and report on three changes/improvements in their respective council.  

  • Attend and help during at least one SU event or initiative.
