About Rob
Rob started his career as a government affairs adviser, working for industrial conglomerates GM and John Laing.
His passion for corporate responsibly led him to establish the UK’s first and largest CSR Network in 2002, bringing together industry leaders, politicians and NGOs. At the same time, he began working for the energy giant, Shell, where he spent 20 years in a series of increasingly senior positions including leading Shell’s sustainability communications.
In 2022 Rob joined the world leading automotive ultra-luxury brand, Aston Martin, where his diverse role includes government relations, directing the company’s award-winning sustainability programme, “Racing Green” and crisis management.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is included in the 2024 Walpole Power List of 50 most influential people in British luxury.
