Council President Elections are here!
From Thursday 25th September (12:00) to Thursday 2nd October (12:00), you can vote for your Council President – the student who will represent your school/subject area in partnership with the Student Union.
👉 Results will be announced on Friday 3rd October.
What are Councils?
Councils are open spaces for students, supported by the SU, where you can share feedback, raise issues, and celebrate what’s going well.
Each Council is led by a Council President, elected by you. They:
Run Council meetings where you can share feedback (positive or negative).
Collaborate with Course Reps and the SU to take your feedback forward.
Help organise events and build community in your school.
Councils don’t replace the SU – they’re part of it. Council Presidents work closely with the SU President and the VP of Councils & Representation to make sure your voice is heard at every level.
