About the Event
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us into living with uncertainties in many areas of our life, but there is one certain feeling that people around the world share at this time: most of our chosen governments have handled this crisis with a rather alarming incompetence and a lackadaisical attitude towards the health and well-being of the public.
Rights of ordinary citizens and their wellbeing has to come first and for this, we need to hold our governments accountable, especially when they disregard these values.
Our current predicament demands for us to actively engage with politics, so that we can play our part in making the governance of tomorrow what it ought to be to serve the many and not the few. For this, we need to be informed, aware, and active. This event will act as a guiding space for many to do just this, and we sincerely hope to have you be a part of this.
