As an External Officer, you will work closely with the SU President and focus on strengthening partnerships the Student Union has already established.

Attend the weekly Executive Meetings and share your thoughts about SU and University Initiatives.Â

Support the SU and the SU President in their aims and objectives to promote the welfare of all students on campus.

We are looking for confident an enthusiastic student who enjoys building relationships and enjoys identifying new opportunities. Someone who is a team player, proactive and passionate about creating positive experience for the student community.
What is this role about?
Build on and strengthen the connections the Student Union has already established, while exploring and proposing activities or initiatives that bring benefits to the student community.
Work with the SU President directly in creating new, exciting opportunities and connections with external organisations that would benefit students.
Suggest at least three valuable collaborations the SU should consider.
Attend 90% of the weekly Student Union Executive Meetings. Â
Participate in the assigned activities scheduled for the position in Induction Week (campus tours, Welcome Festival and Student Union planned activities). Â
Provide support for the executive team and assist the Student Union in achieving aims and objectives.Â
