About the Role
As the Social Inclusivity Officer, you’ll help make sure every student at Regent’s feels included, respected, and part of the community. You’ll work to create inclusive spaces and events, highlight underrepresented voices, and support campaigns that promote diversity and belonging across campus.

Support your team to enhance the student experience within your area.
Work closely with the relevant Vice President in weekly meetings.
Work in supportive environment where if being open to learn, you will always find support and help.
Attend the weekly Executive Meetings and share your thoughts about SU and University Initiatives.
Be part of exciting SU projects and events.
Support the SU and the SU President in their aims and objectives to promote the welfare of all students on campus.

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive student who’s passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion. You should enjoy listening to others, be open-minded and eager to bring new ideas forward. If you care about making Regent’s a welcoming place for all students, this role is a great way to make a real difference.
What is this role about?
Attend 90% of the weekly Student Union Executive Meetings.
Collecting feedback from minority and underrepresented student groups to ensure their voices are heard
Planning and delivering at least three improvements each year to strengthen inclusivity
Working with the SU Comms Team to run at least one social media campaign per term focused on inclusivity
Participating in SU activities like Induction Week, Fresher’s Fair, and Open Days
Supporting the Executive Team in their projects and aims
Assisting the University on student-related projects connected to inclusivity and wellbeing
