"OUR REGENT'S STUDENTS" SERIES (3) - DAVIS GOLDENBERG

Get to know and connect with our exceptional students.

"Regent’s really is a wonderful place and I encourage everyone to cherish their time here and get as involved as possible. You will learn so much along the way and be surprised how much you have grown when you look back on your experience"

1) Your time as VP of the Student Union is soon drawing to a close, how do you feel about leaving?

I am sad to go, but I am also looking forward to what will come! I have really enjoyed my time in the SU and I am thankful for the opportunity to have been able to enhance the student experience and be a voice for students. That being said, I am very confident in the new team and I cannot wait to see what they are able to accomplish this coming year!

2) What has been your greatest accomplishment during your time as VP? Is there anything you're particularly proud of?

I would say that my greatest accomplishment has been helping my team to succeed! I am very proud of all the social and academic events we have been able to host over the last year, regardless of the obstacle of being online. I am also proud of our societies, which many of them we built from the ground up, with the help of some very enthusiastic Presidents!

3) How was your experience during your time at the Student Union? Is there any important learning that you would like to share?

I really enjoyed my time at the SU. I started to get involved in my second year at Regent’s by joining the Academic Events Team. I then became the VP Student Experience in my final year. I really enjoyed working with a team of students who were committed to serving their community as much as I am. I would say that I am leaving the SU as a better leader and team player than when I joined.

3) What are you hoping to see from the next Student Union team? Do you have any advice to give?

I am really excited to see what the next team will accomplish! It is very exciting that they will be able to work from campus again and I know that students cannot wait to get back and get involved again. My advice to the new team would be to use that positive energy to their advantage!

4) What will you miss the most about the student community at Regent's?

I have really loved my time at Regent’s and one of the main reasons is the community. After three years, Regent’s really does feel like home and it feels strange to say goodbye. My favorite aspect of the community is how international it is as it really does enhance your experience. I am also always so impressed with Regent’s students and how much they are engaged with outside of their studies. I has been very inspiring for me. I will really miss being part of such an amazing student body.

5) What's next for you?

Next year, I will be pursuing a masters in Curating in London. I am really looking forward to specializing my education and working towards the start of my career.

6) Any final thoughts that you would like to add…

Regent’s really is a wonderful place and I encourage everyone to cherish their time here and get as involved as possible. You will learn so much along the way and be surprised how much you have grown when you look back on your experience. I have really missed being on campus with everyone this year I am really excited to get to see my peers after a long time apart in September for graduation!
